We were lucky to design a new kitchen in a beautiful historic home in NW Portland. The owners wanted a space where they could enjoy the company of friends and family. Every day use items are on on open redwood shelves, inviting guests to help themselves. The exposed kitchenware together with the marble counters and backsplash create a casual yet elegant space. An old elevator shaft with lovely leaded glasswork was converted to a little seating nook… a likely spot for the family pooch to oversee activities.
