TCU Music Center
The new Music Center at Texas Christian University creates an iconic destination for concerts by student, faculty and visiting professional musicians. The centerpiece of the design is the world-class Van Cliburn Concert Hall, an intimate recital venue whose 717 seats wrap around the performance platform to create an immersive experience. Rehearsal halls for orchestra, band and percussion ensembles plus faculty studios and practice rooms support the academic functions of the School of Music. The buff brick masonry respects the campus material palette while the glass enclosed lobby opens onto a porch that frames a new campus outdoor space and invites the community to TCU.
